My name is Bill. I have my dad’s car, 1950 Desoto Custom. He always wanted to upgrade to modern drivetrain and 12 volt, but never got around to it. Around here we’ve always been super busy. I’m retiring February 2025’ and will have some time in between watching the grand kids. I’ve already been receiving tips on which way to take this ground up build. You guys run a great site. The original Desoto drivetrain was just, but fluid drive was never in gear making the parking brakes critical. Wrenching on it was horrible, and for Gods Sake if your parking on any kind of an incline dont forget to put the wheel chocks under the tires. And remember you’ll need somebody to hand them to you when you go to take off. Way too many headaches. The upside is the waterfall grill and Desoto himself leading the way on the front of my hood. This year Desoto Custom turns heads, even though it’s Glen Green which will remain in all its Glory haha. Thanks for all the feedback
