I am wondering if anyone knows what size or type of screws go into the bottom of the seat backs on front bucket seats of a 69 Dart? Along the metal frame at the bottom of the bucket seat top is a hole at each outer edge where screws presumably go through the back itself to hold it in place. But when I got my car the owner had used shoestring to tie up the backs because the screws were obviously missing. Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

No one has any insight on this? Is there not actually supposed to be screws at the bottom of the seat backs? Would appreciate a picture if someone can share one to make sure I am not chasing a phantom.

Neither. In the areas generally highlighted by my red marks in this picture, there is a threaded hole at each end of the seat frame. When I place the seat back on the seat top, it covers these two holes, but the seat back has a lip that goes under that part of the seat frame. This leads me to believe that their should be two screws that hold the lower part of the seat back on the seat top.
