Thought I would pass this on to the PNW people, the Seattle Mopars Unlimited Spring Mopar Roundup is going to be June 7th at Mariner High School in Everett. I'm hoping to see some FABO cars there. j
Well, as the car sits, I have just comprehensive storage insurance. When it is running again...I'm not even sure what I am going to do. Now are you talking about ME, or the club? j
The reason I mentioned insurance is because that's not the best part of town. Should be OK with the police there.
d'oh! I can't remember now September? sometime around there... should meet up sometime, let me know if you're going to any shows or anything..
That's what I was thinking. BTW: Does anyone know if they still have the Tom Matson Dodge sponsored show at SIR? I flew up for it many years ago.
well I plan on this one and the sunbust show aug 23rd?. There may also be a bbq in the works for people I know, ill let you know
Well in my opinion there are two not to miss ones, the sunbust show and the spring round up. Last year the was one at SIR but from what I hear it wasn't very well attended. Both the sunbust and spring round up have swap meets (new again for this year because when it was at xxx it didn't but when it was at bcc it did) so there are the two I will be going to. I think the one at SIR had a swap meet too but I did not go so I am not 100% certain. I do not know if the SIR will be back. If I missed any northwest guys please let me know
They have the Mopar drags out at Bremerton every year and the one at SIR sucks big floppy donkey balls! It is a total waist of time and money. I'm not going to the Sunbust this year because it is on the same weekend as The Unfinished Nationals in Elma, WA. we want to take the 48 to that one and then the Rat Bastards show at XXX in Issaquah the next weekend. I like the Mopar shows but it is usually all the same type of cars over and over again and we are going to hit another "Prowler and PT cruiser phase" for the next 2 years with people bringing their new challengers into the shows. I understand why they bring them but it just bugs me when people park something that should be out in the parking lot in the middle of all the older cars. Rant off.....for now.
Mopar Car Show - and drags its a great event as long as it does not rain like last year. I will see ya there
I was asking if the Tom Matson Dodge/Mopar Show was still being held at SIR because as I mentioned above, I flew up many years ago for it. Forgetting exactly how many years ago it was, I dug out bags of old show t-shirts and realized it was in '96. Holy smoke ... how time flies! Check it out ...
I'm going to be there with the red Scamp. I just don't see having the Plum Crazy car ready to drive. My wife wants to go to Hawaii in October so there goes my budget for the year.
It has changed back to the original name of Pacific Raceways around 2002 or so. If you go to the website, there is no Mopar event this year...Which isn't a big let down considering what I heard about last years race. Pacific Raceways has some cool events this year like the huge big-money bracket race (Pacific Sportsman Nationals) in August, and Pinks-All out in mid-August.
I will be there... not entered(not yet at least)... but to meet people and see the beauty my car really possesses!!! Is the show pretty deep into Everett? I am coming from the south end... just an inquiry... Thanks
If your'e coming from the south on I-5, take the Airport road/128th St exit. At the top of the exit ramp go left(west). Go right at the 1st light past the overpass (4th). 3 blocks on your right.
