sheet metal floor pan diy

so ive searched around on here and cant seem to find a good floor pan diy thread. this is going in a non street car so sheet metal will do as it doesnt not need the original correct floor pans. so is there a good sheet metal floor pan diy out there? thanks

well you could form a sheet of steel to fit and either make a flange or lap weld it. being its a race car i would put a new correct peice in it as it has strength ribbing in it. to me that would be important in that area...

Yeah, look at my build thread. If I was to do it again I'd buy the pans, although they were fun to make.

IMO yes, your still dealing with a unibody car... you can make your own pans but for the cost of new correct ones i think it will be much easier to buy and install vs make and install
