    Interesting piece. Has a mopar reverse lamp switch on it so its definately from some Chrysler. Bracket sort of suggests it was dash mounted. i suppose it could work in a custom console build or rat rod. Good luck with the sale.

    my guess is its out of a dodge van with that bolt on metal peice around it.
    The Dodge trucks shifters were right on the dash.... great for slammin gears.... i have one... !!
    However, I have seen these in the console of a '65 Satelite too...

    I believe it was used in Motor Homes too, which of course would be a Dodge truck.

    It's definatly out of a 65 year, look's just like 65 dodge and plymouth vehicle's. Like the guy's above said, probably out of a truck,van, motorhome,
    and cable shift too.

    Thanks a ton for the info guys. I knew I had seen this style of shifter back when I was a kid but it's been so long I couldn't remember what I saw it in.

    that is in fact from a sweptline (61-68 ) truck or an "a" series van. dash mounted

    Just thinking how it would look in my 38 truck when I put the hemi in it? I was thinking of using a Lokart shifter, But open to ideas?

    I think this shifter may have been used on a few applications by the sound of it. Thanks for the info guys.
