Can you reuse these? Guys reuse copper ones, just never thought it through.

Well you could, i dont think i would, even after having both decks milled. Why take the chance for the cost of a gasket

I've done it once on a NA race engine that had just been assembled and I tore the head off and re-used the gasket. Didn't have a 2nd new one. Did fine. But I agree with the above advice; why take the risk if you do have another new gasket?

I wouldn't be afraid to reuse steel gasket. it will save you a loss of compression with the newer style gaskets

That's exactly what they make Copper Coat for. The steel shim gaskets need to have a thin, non slip sealing film to work properly. I've reused the same gaskets over and over and never had an issue with them.
