anyone ever think about cutting the trunk trim down, so it would actually match the tail lights ? :wack: have only seen one car that had the trunk trim the same width as the tail lights. it looked good , compared to most of them. may try it on an extra lower I got one of these days.

LOOKING GOOD pa karp !!!!!!!!!!

You can get rattle cans of argent silver and tail light red to restore the rear finish panel, from Totally Auto. ( 1 of the best looking parts on a '69!!!!)
 
I'm still admiring the red car above. Lack of wheel well trim, header panel badge(s), and bumper guards, makes a clean look.
