I have for sale a single Moroso #62540 sold motor mount that was used on a 68 340 Dart. It’s the biscuit style and it's in excellent shape. Also included are the original nuts and washers. I would like to get $8 plus the shipping for the single mount.

Would you mount this left or right, tension or compression?

Actually, the passenger side. Stock type rubber mount on the driver side with a decent torque strap mounted high on the engine then to the subframe. With the solid mount on the driver side and no torque strap, and with enough power and torque, you run the risk of pulling the block mounting ears right out of the block itself. I've seen it and it isn't very pretty. Just sayin'

Thanks Phil,

I learning here. So the right side acts as a pivot point for the engine and the left with limited movement, the force is transferred down into the K-frame causing lift. Is the amount of time and distance of travel for the engine relative to the performance time and handling as the front lifts from the torque of the drive train?

Thanks
Art
