Six Pac Scoop

-

Her are a couple of company's that sell aftermarket scoops.

I would get mine from Unlimited products.
They are local to me, so I could inspect it prior to purchase, and avoid shipping charges and damage.
External and internal mounting flanges available.

I've been speaking with Larry at Sled City. He's a one man show but I've heard good things about him.

Stay the F away from Unlimited. I got a 68/69 Dart SS Hemi hood from them years ago and it was a complete POS. It took a lot and I mean A LOT of work to straighten it out.

1. thats a whole hood, not just a scoop.
2. It was years ago. They had a bad rep, but the company was sold. New owners are putting out better product.
3. I said what EYE would do. I'd check out the parts, and avoid shipping charges and damage. I might not choose them if I was in Canada.

I hope the new owners are better. It's just tough for me to trust that name after my bad experience.

What would be the point of that Kim? I would want it finished and painted the color of your choice. But that's just me.

I saw this Unlimited hood and scoop at a car show and fell in love.

I wonder what the reasoning is for rocker guard? To "hide" their work/imperfections?
When I hear rocker guard from a body/paint shop...nope.

I haven’t decided on which one to get. I stopped in at the body shop to talk to the guy doing it. He knew nothing about box lining it and was using fuser on it. He said when all said and done it will be an $800.00 bill. Thats 5 times their quote. I told him to stop and I’ll talk to the manager tomorrow which is today now. There’s no way in hell I’m paying that much. I’ll update later today. I’ll show him these pics

Well it’s fixed and painted. Will be going back on to the car tomorrow. That’s just a reflection in the 3rd pic. Kim

My buddy found them on Amazon. There just a plastic piece with a hole in it. It has a cap that u push into place with a strap holding them together. So their one piece. I use the screw of your choice. I’ll get a few pics later. Kim. My buddy sent me this. U can see inside what their like. @Daves69

My opinion FWIW, I'd use the rivets and either paint the hood area inside the scoop black, or the whole hood black. I do love that style hood scoop!
