Anyone here built a /6 run stand? I tried searching but only found small & big block info. I have a Ford flat motor stand I'm going to try to modify. My questions are; What did you do for a flywheel? I'm running an automatic. And what did you do for the bellhousing for starter mounting? Thanks!!!

I saved the front frame rails, core support and transmission crossmember from a 65 A body. Since the K is the same for slants and LA (with proper motor mounts) i can use it for mounting either motor

Just get a standard bellhousing and flywheel. That will allow you to start it right up with no trouble.

I made one out of a Rotted out F body K frame.

I made it so that I ran it with a 904 hanging off the back.

But a 3 speed only Bell housing Should be cheap and easy to find. Put a flywheel and starter on it,
