Found and bought a 1964 slant six 4 speed bellhousing at Spring Fling. Installing in 1968 Valiant with 1966 833 trans. I know there is a differened in the 64 year bellhousing. Is it the location of z bar ball mount?

Thinking I might have to fab up a bracket.

Yes , you need a bracket that will make the z bar at right angle to the bell when attached to the frame side so it functions properly .Pretty easy to do but a must do thing .The 64 part will do the trick but finding it may be difficult and more work than making your own . Other than the z bar mount everything else is good for a 65 or up but a 66 A 833 has a 2.66 ist gear and you really need a 3.09 with the 6 cylinder for it to work .You will kill your clutch with the higher 1st gear over time.A 65 and down a833 has a 3.09 . A lower rear ratio may help if you use the 66 unit say 390 as opposed to a 323 .
