Think he charges 60 bucks. Rockauto has good dizzy s to work with 1973 DODGE DART 3.7L 225cid L6 Distributor | RockAutoThoughts on good distributor for street Never built one like ones shown so already built one is preferred

Not really, got reman dizzys in all my mopars i drive my cars everyday and take em to the track get great mileage and performance very dependable. Of course when i order dizzys i inspect them for slop or play, like any other part i buy. But when i put H.E.I in my mopar thats when dependability went to **** lol.Buying a "remanufactured" distributor only counts as doing yourself a favour if you're a masochist who likes unreliable cars. The "remanufactured" distributor you'd get from RockAuto is just as pathetic in quality and dependability as the "remanufactured" distributor you'd get anywhere else.
Most remans from the parts stores cover a big range of applications say 10 years so they are kind of set in the middle. Look at a RA listing on what they fit for example, you might get lucky and it is fine if not you have to live with it.Buying a "remanufactured" distributor only counts as doing yourself a favour if you're a masochist who likes unreliable cars. Since day one, REMANUFACTURING, the renewal of worn parts back to new or better performance, has been the core of our business — and A1 CARDONE products are the highest quality remanufactured parts in the automotive aftermarket.
That’s because they don’t just replace broken components — they completely disassemble every worn part, also known as a “core”, and thoroughly clean and inspect every component. Through reverse engineering, their engineers pinpoint original equipment design weaknesses through examining common wear areas. They incorporate fixes into their renewal process as needed to produce reliable products you can count on.
Features & Benefits:
- All electronic module components are 100% computer tested to ensure full functionality.
- Automated test equipment verifies signal strength, correct polarity of wire harness, air gap, crank reluctor tooth size, as well as ignition coil and pickup performance
- CARDONE uses the right gear hardness for the appropriate application. If the gear is too hard, it will damage the cam; if it's too soft, the gear itself will be damaged, potentially causing severe engine damage – possibly even engine failure.
- O.E. components with consistently high failure rates are 100% replaced or repaired to meet or exceed O.E. performance.
- Precise machining tolerances prevent oil leakage, poor timing, setting of the "Check Engine" light, and premature failure.
Everything under this he copy and paste from A1 as an example of how little they know or care.NewHalifaxhops, I hope this is from A1 Cardone, and not from you.
This one fits them all!1961-75
That's what I thought, and hoping, but wanted to be sure.Everything under this he copy and paste from A1 as an example of how little they know or care.
I rebuild mine to the stock specs the number on the distributor calls for. I have done custom ones also and a few clones, but will not tag the clones, the buyer has to put the tag on I will not do it.NewHalifaxhops, I hope this is from A1 Cardone, and not from you.
A1 Cardone has the worst garbage I have ever seen. I have received so much of their stuff, that was bad right out of the box. I will not buy anything from them, unless there is just no other option.
20 plus years ago they really did have good products, and great customer service. No longer that way.
PS: Standard Motor Products is not much better.
