Fri 4-5-2019, 1/8 mile slant six race
Sat 4-6-2019 1/4 mile slant six race

For anyone not familiar with the slant six racing rules:
Vehicle (doesn't have to be Mopar) must be mopar slant six powered. Any make, model, year. Any modification allowed. Power adders, any fuel (except nitro methane unless the track gives written OK) OK. Safety requirements are NHRA/IHRA for et/mph. Bracket style handicap. Run what you brung, and have fun. We have vehicles running any where from 20 sec to 9 sec 1/4 mile times.

Nitro is banned?
What would a /6 sound like with 6 zoomie pipes on nitro?

I used to go to the U.S. Nationals every year in the early 70's.
We used to cruise the local motels in the evenings after the track closed down at 6:00 and check out what was happening. One motel in particular had pit mini bike races in the parking lot every year and eventually had a Christmas tree. Some of the fuel guys ran nitro in their Briggs and Strattons.
Ahh....the good old days of racing before it became an industry.

Race Weekend 3 Motormile – Fairlawn VA June 7-9 - Friday TNT / Sat / Sun Race Days (waiting on track confirmation of dates)

Race Weekend 4 Wilkesboro - Ron Hamby - July 19th & 20th st Fri Race and Sat Empire Show then race. - Racer's Reunion 2019

Race Weekend 5 Knoxville – Gary Bruner – Aug – Dates TBD

Race Weekend 6 Clay City – (New Track Name Kentucky Dragway) Rob Simmons - September 7th & 8th - Friday the 6th TNT CONFIRMED

Race Weekend 7 Fall Mason Dixon - Rick Covalt - Oct Sat / Sun Dates TBD.

Race #4 at wilkesboro, NC. On Sat morning we put our cars on display (not required) at Empire Chrys-Dodge-Jeep dealership, then head for the track after that.
 
I wanted badly to make Clay City last year. I'll try again this year. Hopefully no rain this year.
 
Too bad me and my buddies on on the other side of the country, would of been fun. Keep it going guys!
