Good morning, I have a small bolt pattern front brake/hub set up on my car. I want to upgrade my brakes but want the ability to stay small bolt pattern till I am ready to swap my rear end then I will got large bolt pattern. Is there a kit that will easily allow me to change to the large bolt pattern later with out changing everything again.

The kit that is on the car now uses Factory hub/bearing from the 9" drum which I want to get away from.

dr. diff sells a small bolt rotor for the 73~76 brake upgrade.

you'll need upper control arms and obviously the spindles along with the associated brake hardware. then when you're ready to go BBP it's only a matter of swapping out the rotors.

Was hoping for a kit that includes the spindles and what not. That I only need to swap the rotor once I am ready.

That's exactly what the Dr. Diff kit is- the whole shebang.
Order it with the small bolt rotors, and when the time comes to change just go to NAPA or RockAuto and get standard '73+ rotors.
10.95" Front Disc Brake Kit (Stage 1)
He can also set you up with a disc master and prop. valve.
Give him a call, great guy to deal with.
Alternatively, if you happen across the early Kelsey/Hayes disc setup you can change over to the big bolt pattern by swapping to Mustang rotors:
Using mustang rotors for 4.5" bc

If you get 10 inch drum set up. They sell a kit that uses those spindles and converts to big bolt pattern disc and you can keep your complete suspension the same upper control arms down the road.

Will wood sells race brakes for the 9 inch spindles big bolt pattern also.

either way you will be able to use what you have with either drum brake set up. What you install or if you keep what you have. The set up that goes on the 10 inch drum spindles has 4 1/2 inch BB and comes with the Kelsey hayes style 4 piston brakes

The Wilwood race brakes are 4 1/2 BB only. Strange race brake go on 73 up disc brake spindles.

The strange is what I like for street strip. Wilwood strip only. Conversion style street warrior and you can keep your 10 inc spindles and upper Control arms

You never did say what size small bolt pattern wheels you have- 13" wheels will be a no-go on any disc system; 14s should fit (since the factory-type discs were designed to be used with 14s), although there are some variations in early factory wheels that may or may not have some slight interference (nothing a 1/4" spacer won't take care of though). Aftermarket wheels should be just fine if that's what you currently have. Just a heads-up, and one of many reasons I said to call and talk to him. He knows his stuff.

Keep in mind the OEM front disc's widen the front track. So if you're looking to a 7" or wider front wheel, more positive offset is needed. To add to that, what wheel tire combo fits a Duster/Demon/Dart Sport may not fit a Dart. So what car is this going on?
