small block bell housings

hey everyone, I'm finally working on the rebuilt trans i bought and i was wondering if the bell housing from my A-745 which was attached to my old 273 will work on my new A-833. i hear that the input bearing bore is a huge factor.

Not only the center hole, I don't believe the gearbox boltpattern is the same. I don't know whether you could practically built an adapter (perhaps 5/16 plate, etc) or not
