70-up small block used a single puller on the water pump with a/c

that pulley looks shallow. non a/c is pretty deep.

the double belts went: crank a/c and alt. single belt went : crank water pump and ps pump.

Joe, isn't the a/c pulley smaller diameter to drive the WP faster?

it is. but its also shallow like the pic with the tape measure makes it look. unless he has pictures of two different pulleys posted. maybe its just an optical illusion. his first pick it looks like a 70-up non a/c pulley. then the second pic makes it look like an a/c pulley with how shallow it is.

Just got back in town. My W/P pulley measures approx. 6 5/8 x 2 3/4.

My car originally had air conditioning. I've only owned it 10 years so anything is possible but the original engine was in it when I bought it. I kept the front end when I swapped in a 5.9.

I should add, I measured across the entire pulley, not across the bottom of the groove.

thats a pre 70 pulley. those pulley set ups are totally different then the 70-up pulleys.

Yes, it's from 66. I can't tell a 70 and newer from a 70 back. I just know the old stuff, lol.
Thank you much for your efforts, This one is 6 7/8" x 2 3/4" outside to outside. It didn't fit my 68 340 with a cast iron water pump is all I know for sure. I believe it should work with a aluminum water pump but not positive about that.

here ya go for comparison purposes.

the deeper and larger diameter one is a 70-up non a/c water pump pulley.

the shallow and smaller diameter one is a 70-up a/c Water pump pulley.
