small propane torch issue

new torch. worked fine on day 1. next time it was gushing flame & would not stay lit. any thoughts to correct this. I varied the amt of gas to no avail. thank you for your time. RR

Take it back before it blows up. It's new.

Some torches may have a diffuser in the end, if it comes loose it may act like that. Does it come apart? look down inside.
