Hello everyone,I just have a quick question for anyone running the Sniper EFI w/ in tank module. The question, have you had the fuel line inside the tank fail?
Just over a year old and summit will not warranty. Just curious if anyone else experienced this, 69 Dart in San Diego and using regular gas.

If it’s not FI rated, it’s likely to fail sooner ir later

Not to be a smart *** but new cars have been using plastic for fuel lines for decades, since it's in the tank and I'm a lazy ***, I don't like to do the same thing again. I would look for another solution.

Wrong type of hose and a common sight with replacement pumps these days. Use SAE30R10 "submersible" hose made for in-tank use with a nitrile/buna-N/NBR outer jacket. Could use nylon if the barbs were shaped and sized to be compatible, but probably not without leaking.

My buddy was on a road trip when his in-tank hose failed. It's almost like the suppliers think EFI rated hose is ok to submerge in the tank. It's NOT.

As mentioned above, you must use submersible hose only inside the tank. I just bought a few feet from Radium Engineering, and have sourced it elsewhere in the past.

What would Summit warranty? The two inch piece of fuel line? I'd replace it with compatible line and call it good.

And that's Our problem right there, and why We keep opening up boxes of fu<king junk, and complaining when it sucks. If I'd sold that part to a customer, & had that fu<king bullsh*t happen & come back, as soon as I pulled it out & saw it the parts house would be bringing Me a new one(different line/brand at that)& that would be in the box as a return. Nothing changes or gets better if You like to keep takin' it from behind dry. They eat enough of 'em, it'll stop or I go somewhere else.

Thank you all for the replies, Just wanted to see if anyone else had that experience. I would think Summit and/or Holley would do something about it.
