Years ago by brother got one with a 380 right off the road. We ate good for a while…
I'm thinking I might try a .380 next year.

I'm using personal defense loads. This was Barnes solid copper, and didn't leave a huge exit hole but it did pass through. She walked ten yards, laid down, looked around a couple times, and went to sleep.

I'd like to know if my .380 pistols would be as lethal but I also don't want to injure an animal and not harvest it cleanly

How far out was the shot? Nice work!

When they are bedded down like this, a sling shot would work… LOL

Took this one a few weeks ago with a Dan Wesson model 15 .357 magnum at 42 yards. My first pistol deer.

I have a couple of Dan Wessons. I think they are pure art, I compete with one of them. It will be interesting to see what CZ does with the brand now that they have bought them. Beautiful pistol and nice deer!
