I know that gold GTS convertible well, the guy actually had 3 of them alike before he died. A friend told me about them so I went up to document them all, then another friend bought one later and caught the transporter on the way south.

It is nice to see A-bodies getting some presentation. I drove my B-body GTX to a smaller local show. (About 150 cars. Probably 1/8th that Iola show.) My car was only GTX along with a few other B-bodies. I did not see any A-bodies. Which was disappointing.

Yah...... One of these years I am going to go to the Iola show. Its not to far from me. I have to go soon tho, My days are getting short.
Friends have told me Its a good show.

I like the 66 Valiant conv. The 69 swinger looks to be a clone. That would have been my first pick. But all 340 cars came with drip edge trim. That car has the delete corner which is always a dead give away it was a /6 car

You must be thinking of GT/GTS as none of my 69 340 Swingers ever had drip rail molding unless it was a vinyl top car...

Yes, he had a picture of all 3 with the car. My friends dad restored 2 of those Darts back in the day, my friend is a member here but he rarely ever posts here.

My friend knows the owner and car, said at the show it’s a real 340 car but had a big block in it now...I had no reason to doubt him so I never looked at the VIN.

That was the 383 car correct? I know a few things about it they didn't know, and it wasn't good but I won't talk about it here...

I wish I would have made it. Thanks for sharing pics. Glad we got to meet up for some pizza and BSing
