something for the B-body crowd

I sorta did the same thing on a smaller scale years ago. I had a LOT of scrap built up through the years and scrap here was like 16 bucks per hundred pounds. And we were hurtin pretty bad. I advertised a LOT of heads here CHEAP. 906s, 452s, 920s, 915s......yeah big block. Intakes, all kinda stuff. Nobody bit. Then I advertised all of it for free. Pickup only of course. Nobody bit. So I did what I needed to do and threw it all in the scrap pile. I got about 2K for that run, too. Had like 4 rear ends.....couple transmissions.....all kinda stuff. Couldn't give it away.

Pomona trash cans after auto swap meets are full of crap that didn't sell, and Im sure someone offered something for it and was told "I'll toss it before I'll sell it for that price...".. and I'll be waiting. :icon_fU:

I found a set of whitewall M&H slicks on a 5 on 5 pattern rim on the way out after the swap was over, grabbed them to make a bench for a friends man cave.

I just don't get that.

I won't take your $50...

...but I'll be happy with zero.

Must be an ego thing.
