speedo cable - problem solver??

For the 65 Barracuda; we are going from the old cable 904 to a 1980 newer style 904 (lockup type) trans.

What is the speedometer cable to use for the modern 904 trans side with the stock 65 speedo?

I know that I'll have to specify the gear tooth count once we know the rear gears and tires....

You need the 66/67 style; I should have a couple laying around. .

If I remember correctly, you will need a '67 speedo cable. That year specifically has the newer pinion end, but the old thread on speedometer end.
