hey guys doin a upgrade to the 73+ spindles but I'm also doing a big brake kit. trying to find hardware size for what looks to be where the stock calipers mount to the spindles. also if anyone has done the dr. diff hubs, do you know what dust cap will fit? also would anyone happen to know what the hub size would be for fitting wheels? i tried to fit my wheels but the hub on them was too small. need to know when i go to get them rebuilt. thanks for any help.

You should have metric and SAE tap and dies (not the cheapest embossed black HBF sets). Trying different taps (by hand and without the tap holder) to figure out the thread pitch won't hurt anything. Those appear to be new reproduction knuckles/spindles, so they might be metric thread. Use grade 5 or 8 if SAE, 10.9 or 12.9 if metric, long enough to protrude out the back when tight.

Where did you get the hubs? I expect they accept the dust caps made for the application (73+). You should have a six inch dial (not digital) caliper (HBF are fine and in my experience, accurate when cold/room temp). Measure the bore ID for the dust cap, then compare to Dorman's listing by bore size on summit. New caps are thin metal so use a blunt tool like an extension a little at a time, back and forth, around the edge to tap them in.

The DoctorDiff aluminum hubs are essentially just copies of the Mopar ones, similar to if you turned the rotor part off of a set of 73+ disk assembly.

The center register is ~2.7” in diameter. Dust cap is also the same, but all the reproduction caps are terrible.
