Anyone headed out there this year? I am looking for a set of V8 torsion bars, lower control arms, a Wildwood disc brake setup for an 8 3/4 and BBP axles to match. I will have a decent set of SBP Rallye wheels to sell if I find what I am looking for this year. Happy hunting!

No, nobody ever goes to that show.

Of course, man. I try to make it to every Spring event and at least every third Fall show. I’ve never driven an A body there but I have driven the Charger there 8 or 9 times. I’m knuckle deep in a roller camshaft swap so I may not have it done to drive there this year.

I’m always eager to walk the swap meet. A show without a swap meet is like a silent movie…. I love looking at both cars and parts!

i should be there. not with my car since its in a million pieces. hoping to find stuff for my duster. hopefully its bigger than the fall fling was.

I'll too will be there... We'll get there Thursday, join the Malibu cruise Friday... Toluca Lake Bob's Big Boy Friday night... Woodley Park Saturday morning... Probably Bob's Big Boy in Northridge Saturday early evening... Always a good weekend...

Wait, the O/P has been a member since 2009 & only has seventeen posts??? Dude!! Join the party!!!!

Sounds like a lot of people are in the same boat as me, sadly not driving my car out there. Just pulled the Dart out of storage and getting her back up and running. It was my first car and she is finally getting the love she deserves. Glad to hear there will be at least be seven of us there...

I know! I've been busy with a 4Runner, K10, KX500, etc. etc. Too many projects but I'm slimming down the heard so I can get back to my Mopar roots, ha!

Maybe I’ll make it. I just had surgery & was in the VA hospital for 4 days. Still jacked up lots of pain.
I’ll try and bring both of my dodge power wagons. Was all set to go and try out my new 3 car wedge. But the wind has been taken outa my sails for now. My abdomen hurts.

Sounds rough, definitely would want to take care not to risk any recovery setbacks. That is a great picture of your sweet transport setup. Good luck in being able to recover in time to make the show.

anybody coming down from the Sacramento area willing to help me out in getting a 727 transported for a little gas money and my undying gratitude?

thanks mobsters!

He politely declined

you mean you told him who it was for and he went: EFFFF that guy!

Greg could strap it to his trunk lid... Or nottttt...

he's bringing that sweet red thang, asking him to transport some grubby parts in such a fine auto i feel would be a bridge too far!

I usually show up pretty early Saturday morning. That’s a pretty big fender, so I figure even if someone has one they want to part with they may pass on bringing it because of size.

71-2 Plymouth fenders aren't easy to come by these days, Hell, nothing for these old cars is.. Bring cash & be ready to deal... I've seen guys hauling parts that size on a motorcycle... If you need it you make it work..

At this point, I'd need to have a breakdown in the Charger to have me drive anything else. I used to drive the truck almost every time.

He politely declined

Well, I'd love to help a fellow Mopar guy out but yeah....If it were a 4 speed I could have put a small sheet of plywood in the trunk and made it work. If I were driving this beater....

....I could put it in the front seat and have the wife ride in the back!
Maybe I'll see about driving "Jigsaw" next year. I'll want to swap to a 3.23 gear though. 3.91s at freeway speeds will test a man's patience.
