Stirring the pot... Mechanical vs. Hydraulic clutch?

-
So it seems like the general consensus is to stick with the factory mechanical clutch. A completely new setup can be had from classic industries for fairly cheap ($250). I'll go ahead and get the parts once I've saved up enough (highschool budget = sloooooow). Thanks for the input everyone!

And nobody stirs the pot like you. LOL. My opinion is to stick with manual linkage. It will never leak. Plus, it is about as basic and simple as you will get.

And goes at least 100,000 miles in my case with no maintenance other than periodic freeplay adjustments. If you get creative, I got mine down to a couple of minutes even with that big old HOT 3" TTI pipe right there.
I was in a big city once, in traffic, and needed to reset it right now! I pulled over, mounted the curb, took off my clean shirt, and scooched my big chest in there, and a couple of minutes later we were gone.Yeah I run my freeplay on the ragged edge close to zero. But that's the benefit of having an easy to adjust mechanism.
I can shift like lightning......in my head anyway, lol.
