64 dart gt convertible 5x4 pattern

Have stock 185/80r13 on the car now , need to replace tires as they are shot and want to move to discs up front.

Car is for my significant other , daily driver in northern California

She wants whitewalls and the correct size 205/60r15 cokers are crazy money for old tech.

I want to move her to 15x7 wheel vintiques chrome rally wheels with the 4in backspacing.

Can I run a 205/70r15 tire on all 4 corners ? It's the only similar 15in size that offers whitewalls

It's 8.1 wide ( 7.3 is stock) and 26.3 tall (24.7 is stock)

I've seen posts about people running this up front on a later car.

I have found a 205/65r15 ww but it's a no name brand.

I ran these on all 4 corners and they don't rub. Very similar to your 15 WW's, only .2 shorter.
205/75R14 tires have a diameter of 26.1", a section width of 8.1", and a wheel diameter of 14". The circumference is 82.0" and they have 773 revolutions per mile.

Walmart still sells 14's in whitewall. I bought a set for my 82 Mazda B2000. They got a 205/75R15 in WW. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Uniroyal-Tiger-Paw-AWP-II-All-Season-Tire-P205-75R15-97S/9720481

Great thanks for the info. What is your cars specs ?

'65 Barracuda 'S'. Nice inside, nice out...Has 15 Centerlines on it now, but I have 205/75R14 wrapped rallies in the garage. Currently motorless but I got a few irons in the fire......;-) not alot stock on it drivetrain wise.....as in nothing.

Great thanks again , should be very similar to my 64

yes, I'd say 99%. The 64 Valiant Barracuda had:
An extra Valiant script under the passenger trunk lip
slightly different bulkhead connector (3 groups instead of 2)
a different dash layout and a Dart-ish round button radio.
No 'S' option in 64
No 4BBL option in 64
No push button trans option in 65
interior seat pattern...
...anything I missed?

Your Dart mechanicals are about the same across family lines too.

they are on the way. Went with 15x7 silver rallye wheels with light caps and brushed rings with some Toyo extensa a/s whitewalls

So how did those 15" fit? What size tire combo did you use? I just picked up a 64 Dart convertible and starting to tinker with the possibilities :)

They fit great but the 205/70r15 is definitely ad oversize. It fits but it's tight .

I like the 15” because I read it takes that size to upgrade to disc brakes if I decide to do that in the future

I did the 15s for the same reason. It turns out most brake kits can actually fit 14s under them.

The only reason I went with the taller tires because my girlfriend whose car this is wanted white walls. And I wanted a tire brand that wasn't garbage
