Straight up zero degrees here, some of the fishing guys are starting to get on the ice to set up their fish houses. This is the time of year trucks go thru the ice. Like Frank still not much snow, very odd for us this time of year.
Not yet, i havent heard from him, he was quite busy when we last talked. Was going to work on a price for the fast moving parts, and see what he can do for bulk shipping.
Definitely throw a print add in Hemmings news when you do it. I was blown away how many calls I got so far.
No...Not until Spring or if you come up here we have a warm garage. I bought a conversion Van that has a Power inverter with 4 extra batteries. Things are unhooked and I don't want to blow things up and I want to add a solar panel
No sweat very familure with that stuff. We were off the grid in Hawaii and used that system. How big is the inverter do you know?
All 12 volt batteries? Are they isolated? Non isolated batteries all need to be the same cca’s. Going to need a big panel to maintain them.
Those big Tex trailers are NICE! We have one just like those. Well, ours is a 20 GN. Hey, word of advice. Before you load a thing on them, get some deck sealant. Seal the top and bottom at least two treatments. Big Tex doesn’t warranty their trailer floors for rot, even though our first floor was treated, it lasted only about 2 years. Ended up replacing it with treated cedar($$$$) and top sealing it.
I used Trojan 6V 105's in series parraell. Worked great for what we needed. Just ran the generator when we did wash.
They are 4 batteries that are wired in a series. I would have to go look at the size of the inverter And it's cold out there
