The battery bank in the park used 6 volt trojan 105’s too. 12 of them. Outback system. Had a 12k onan diesel genset on automatic controls too. Worked very well, but if 1 battery went down it would wreak havok. Then there were the park rangers that knew more about it than i did, and i had to make regular runs to reset the programming.
Sounds close to the system I had. Only thing that sucked was the monthly maintenance of filling them and cleaning the cables.
The inverter is a 750W the batteries are 4 1/2" by 7" 6" high. But I can't get to them without tearing things apart. and all the wires are hidden
Tike a rule of thumb, one panel is one for each 12V battery, in my case it was for two 6V batteries. Worked well but we ran the whole house on it.
Those 6 v trojans are heavy as heck. I ran 2 of them in my tool truck fro all the interior lights. Worked way better than any of the dual 12v deep cycles I tried.
They are great batteries, the warrantee was something like 10 years at the time, not cheap but well worth the money.
Call me when your ready to do this we can put whatever you want in the system, I have a 4K inverter you can have if it is needed.
Energy management is key. The system powered 2 cabins. Way undersize and careless people staying in the cabins. After i quit, they tried to get me to do service calls, 100 miles and gravel for 2/3 of it, i wasnt interested.
It's over the top good but it's just a cult with the collectors. People that buy the stuff don't crack the seal, just put it on display and gloat that they have one. It's a small run or even a single barrel so not much allocated. If you are a liquor store you only get 1.
Most of the Van Winkle family spirits that are "run of the mill" are $100-$250 a bottle. That's the stuff to drink but savor. A sip a year on a special occasion.
