Sorry Mike. And a long day
Safe travels Mike
Hard to like that. Have a safe trip.
Man 1/2 of us are on the road today, must be a travel day. With exception of TMM, funerals are just no fun and at our age happening far more frequently.
Your saying our collective age is around a Milenium?
I am saying our collective age is right around dirt! Hah!
ANd the older we get the closer body parts get to dragging in the dirt! LMAO
I have a desk day today. I am meeting with all of our Instructors tonight to discuss Red Dot training. I am working on a the outline and curriculum for the class all day today. Another Instructor who is retired AF does a great job in this arena and I lean heavily upon him. Once we get the curriculum refined a bit we post it for all the instructors and they critique and red pen it. In this way we have a pretty darn good platform long before it gets to a student. We will then go thru the class (as instructors) posing as students to see how it flows. Most folks never see all the background, research and effort that goes into a hands on class. It takes us months to create a new class. When teaching I truly love the feedback loop I get from my students. If you create a positive peer to peer learning environment they as students have the confidence to openly comment on what worked and what didn’t for them. In this way the curriculum gets stronger and I become a better instructor. Win win!
Looking forward to some range time with you.
WIsh I was closer.
Morning checking in for discussion as soon as I have me some coffee.
Ahh when he gets set up in NE Arkansas you will be closer.
9 hours straight south to @memike
Hello, you headed south to a funeral Mike ?
Looks like around seven hours for you to John new place.
Yep, we are literally straight South of TMM, MeMike is on Eastern side of State and we are on Western side.
So, if any of you were inclined to build a rough, fun toy out of a discarded charger (think Nascar ish) would you build a C500 or Daytona?
Kind of cool buying some stuff from this guy.
There is an opportunity to buy sheet metal nose from a local guy. He is refining this building skills and design. Seems race car stuff vs restoration stuff. Has my curiousity.
