I just looked up the records (2024 book, so 2023 records and likely changed) for a 273 engine size:

Classic Unblown Gas Altered - 221mph
Classic Blown Gas Altered - 217mph
Classic Unblown Fuel Altered - 235mph
Classic Blown Fuel Altered - 236mph

So, boost on gas could be a thing
I think that 1 trophy I have from my father's fun at El Mirage in the early 50s has 145 mph on it. :D Flatty with a tri-power and Offy heads. That motor was sitting under the work bench in the shop when I was a little kid. Dad traded it to a family friend for a paint job on his '60 short bed F100. The motor wound up in the friend's son's '48 Ford pickup. :steering::D

I have an old flame burner my FIL had, but missing some fittings also the hose may not be any good. 2 large propane tanks too, but I think I may have problems getting them filled due to regulations with date codes, etc................

It is an early 273-9.19.64...........I think the 360 is a '74
Just remember, the 64 and 65 273 heads use their own intake. (smaller bolt holes (5/16" instead of 3/8") And the bolt angle is different. 66 and newer small block heads are different and "normal" Stock 4 barrel intakes for the weird early heads were 65 only. Performance intakes are hard to find. Offenhauser and Edelbrock (D4B) made them. You can hog out the bolt holes and use some weird wedge shaped washers, but that's kind of crude really.
