Stop in for a cup of coffee

Went to a Celebration of Life for an old friend of mine today. Well, she was an old girlfriend from 40 years ago. I know her hubby. Nice guy and we chatted a bit. She had 5 bouts of cancer in the last 15 years and #5 finally took her. "She is in a better place now. no more suffering" as Dan put it.
Frickin' cancer.

Sad and at the same time a relief for her I think.

I think it's time for a sip of some brown colored alcohol based liquid.
This one is getting low, good thing I have 2 or 3 more.

I don't really know. I was thinking 2.5 but I don't know
2.2, turbos werent bad. 2.6, junk, head gaskets were common failure. 2.5, with the balance shaft were not great but can eliminate them. Melling made a balance shaft eliminator kit. That is the extent of my knowledge. Not really, but close enough. I rebuilt the 2.2 turbo i had, it was a good running car after that.

Chillin on the patio here in Victoria. This guy is a regular visitor to the water fountain..theres 2 but this one hangs out a littl

Thursday all the cars from the USA come in by ferry, supposed to be something to see. Hope we can get a good spot. Friday evening they cruise the harbour. Saturday poker run. Sunday is the show, but we fly out early.

You forgot to tell everybody here that the guy called me a liar to my face. That was not a good thing for him to do
Read it it says you tell the rest! I was not there!

Goes to mitch and I will let him finish it. Just frucked up. Why leave it alone and not picked up?

Too much to back read. Fought with my brakes and clutch. Trying to bleed them. New to the Tilton triple master set up. Had to pull the trans and put back in for hyd throwout bearing issue. My body is wasted. Surgeon appt is tomorrow.

Surprised with your car. Different Category I would think.
That's why I moved to the Race Ready category this year; it seemed to fit better since it was built for racing. But again, there are 150k Pro-mods in there. Regular people love the car and the whole story, but when it comes to the awards, it seems they are only interested in perfect cars; that has been the experience so far.

All good though. I enjoy talking with everyone and I am proud to own it, the only thing that matters...............

I was pretty busy Fri/Sat. Did ok. Now so far over 100 e mails I have to go through. Prob a lot of rebuilds for number guys. How to get the name out for sure. Had to hand out 500 or more cards also. Have to do a dist inventory before I get into the correspondence. Told people a month easily.
