Welcome back Mike.Morning ! not back reading . Just got our internet back up > been down for acouple of days. Someone cut the main fiber optic cable not far from us. Wierd not having any internet .View attachment 1716430571

Got my hairs cut last week - couldn't take it any longer.Humid here in the center of PA. I hate humidity....makes it hard to deal with my hair!
My neighbors are going to lose their internet and any 'land line'. The FiOS junction box is open and wires hanging out. No idea who did it but it was a person not a critter to snap open those buckles. I suggested they call Verizon but not my problem.Welcome back Mike.![]()
And splicing fiber is not as easy as clipping on a couple of Scotchlocks.Morning ! not back reading . Just got our internet back up > been down for acouple of days. Someone cut the main fiber optic cable not far from us. Wierd not having any internet .View attachment 1716430571

I bought all new registers for our rental. The original ones were dented, cruddy, and rusted. Too much work to try to revive them. Nothing a couple hundred bucks didn't fix. I am about half done with the base trim. I hope to finish up today.Got my hairs last week - couldn't take it any longer.
Humidity has been frustrating my effort to paint the hot air register. The One-shot paint had a bit of orange peel even brushed on with a little turp. Also had some specks in it.
Sanded it down and tried again but could see it wasn't going to look good. Wiped it off and letting sit 'till.
