Stop in for a cup of coffee

I spent plenty of hours in the local hobby shop racing slot cars on their track. Good time. Definately my favorite store. As far as I know no real hobby shops around here.

They are few and far between any more. There are only 2 slot car tracks that I know of around here anymore, 1 in Quakertown and 1 in Easton.

Even the real tracks have went away around here. There's an 1/8th mile track not too far away but to me, it's just not right lol

I have about 2 totes of 1/32 Eldon and Strombeker track. Also the 66 Barracuda set, the67 Charger set and part sets. Been a long time since I set those up

Let your dog out during the time all the kids are walking to school so it can stand at the fence and yipe for 30 min. :mob: :BangHead::BangHead: Rant over.

Maxx was my Crew Chief. We were observing the window in the block of a very expensive B&S Open Class motor while we sat next to our little HF Greyhound that finished just behind that Briggs in the previous heat race :steering:
A customer and his son raced carts. That race engine technology is quite interesting. Talking to the Jr Dragster guys there too.

Good morning everyone. PT gave me weighted exercises to do. Man that makes things feel more normal. Also went to my buddy's house last night. He is working on his Bonneville car. EFI is having skme sensor issues. Met another local guy with Bonneville cars. Had a great time, but got home about 11.

Morning all.

Picked up a nice shotgun scope for the shot gun I gots off hoppy for my son. Trying to decide if I wanna saddle mount it or have a smith drill and tap it.

The street dept. is grading the alley today. A skid loader with what looks like a tiller on the front to work up the surface. They will fill the low spots and wash outs and roll it smooth with one of those small asphalt rollers. It turns it into a nice smooth race track for the neighbors down the hill.

So I bought a little small countertop gas stove today that uses small cylinders of gas. This is very typical in Vietnam. Because they don't have a lot of money. Anyhow, as soon as I went to lite it up to cook dinner the damn thing had gas and flames flying out everywhere except for where it should. I was like WTF ?? After some investigation, I discovered that they did not assemble it correctly. The gas tube was not going into the cooking orifice properly. I had to modify it and bend it a little. Works fine now. Mechanical inability at large..

No doubt! Even at 14¢ it's a bargain compared to some states.
Yes and if I ever move out of North Dakota I'll need to remember that.
My son has put his application in on a new electric plant going in here soon. we have lots of natural gas and they are going to tap into it and build turbines to run on it. Smart idea and should have done it years ago.
