Stop in for a cup of coffee

Dropped those part I had for engine builder, was talking with him about oiling, I had that wrong, thought all 340's oiled through hollow pushrods, guess it gets squeezed up to top different way

It's a slippery slope around here sometimes.

I did learn that whoever owned the block before me had knurled a piston, guess one of the holes was slightly enlarged at the bottom, maybe there was corrosion or whatever so they honed it more and knurled the piston, never seen that but haven't seen a lot

I should dig up that AR I have and send it to you. I know it needs a cartridge and a tune up. Just need it to work, quality of sound is not a biggie for me.

Sure Ray I'll give it a look, not a bunch of experience tho. I did buy an AR "The Turntable" so not their really vintage stuff, picked it up in Naples on cruise, thing tracked great, even through flight ops on USS Nimitz, there's some abuse!

Well I got this new protractor, got my cartridge aligned but I don't think it stands a chance here on this thread : )

Nice! Let's give 'em even more of a challenge: Baerwald, or Lofgren?

And I like the scale. Only hard part now is to get the scale at the same level as the surface of a record, otherwise your VTF will be off slightly. On both my Scoutmaster and my SL-1200 I had carefully sized blocks of wood I placed up against the side of the platter specifically for that purpose.
