Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well I gotta tell ya there is just something appealing to me when a sexy mature woman can lay in the dirt, on a four lane highway, change a tire and get back on the road. Kinda made my heart swell up with pride knowing ya just can’t keep a farm girl down! She called in and said she was safe and sound back on the highway. Tire changed no problem. Admittedly I did buy one of them fancy all aluminum jacks so she did not have to wrestle an old school 900 pound floor Jack. She said and I quote “ I will never, ever, complain about that Jack being in the trunk again, it made it so easy” Had all she needed, a good jack, a 9mm, a full size tire and a impact. She did mention she ruined her outfit in the dirt and grime on side of the road.
Not quite the same but very proud. When we took the Demon to MCAN, Marie hopped in the 3/4 ton truck and 24ft enclosed trailer she never drove before and took it to the impound parking lot to drop the trailer off. Made a wrong turn and and whipped a Uturn on an overpass on the East Side of Ohare Airport -Chicago. Then had to move the trailer 3 times for the crew, backing it into different spots. Was awesome!

Longer day than normal today in the shop. Still down here as a matter of fact at 7:00 p.m.. primed and painted the rear brake drums for the Cuda but it got so humid outside, I brought them in because they were actually slightly sweating. I blasted the backing plates but did not prime those. I will wait until tomorrow when the sun is out. Then I had an emergency repair. The ice maker in my refrigerator isn't vending ice properly so I took the unit apart and found out what was wrong with it and was able to repair it by tweaking a few things. All is good.

I had my doctor's appt and now waiting for vascular surgeon to call to set up an appt. Then fixed my brake master cylinders on the Charger, filled with fluid and no leaks. Will bleed them tomorrow when it is a little cooler. Was 90⁰ in the garage.

Sam's had nice California yellow peaches. Jusy putting this out there. It has been years since I have enjoyed one this ripe and jucy.
