Go to Harbor Freight for a cheap Honda look alike engine if you don't have your own laying around off a tiller or old weed mower. I don't know if you are thinking about racing nor do I know the drag racing rules for the cars. It would be cool with a V twin after your driver gets some experience.

Just a quick drive by. I spent all day yesterday doing Executive Protection gig again. It was a much better time than last one. Had to guard a gold medal Olympic gymnastics woman who was signing autographs. Folks brought her all kind of stuff to sign, it was nuts. One lady even brought in a balance beam for her to sign! She was super friendly and spent as much time with the young aspiring gymnastics girls as they wanted. She was very down to earth and nice. Not a bad gig!
 
Probably for starters I’ll use a cheap 3-4 hp harbor freight engine to get him used to the car. But that can come later as I need to have the frame blasted and sonic checked. Then re-certified by the NHRA.

Late again as usual, cloudy cold and windy.
Sold my alignment machine,50% over what i paid for it.
 
Now im working on getting the woodworking tools out of the shop, mounted tablesaw to a pallet, and forked it out and into storage.

Hey Frank, I know you do a lot of welding and was wondering if are using a wire feed or a stick welder for sheet metal?
I have a 110v stick welder that I've had for years and never used it till the other day to weld up some holes and I'm impressed how well it works on sheet metal.
