Fire vehicles usually have pretty low miles.
You could return it to a cab chassis, sell off the brush truck bits
Not to mention pretty well taken care of. I bought a door from a '68 fire truck, and it's in really good condition.

How the day has gone… 3 hours of pushing and tugging finally got it unstuck. Couldn’t unload the lumber as the truck was leaning, nearly to a tipping point and didn’t want it to slide off and bust thousands in plywood

Not anymore. We lost it all in the estate aftermath in 2021 and 2022. Chose to save the farm and ground vs the equipment. Well most of it. Managed to save some of the smaller pieces. We have a 4020 but it wouldn’t have been big enough for this truck, not up hill anyway
That said, even if we had it, my build site is 4 miles away from there and I was trapped in by the stuck trucks.

Guys and galls, I have been pampering my sugar britches, stomach problems for 8 days, she is feeling some what better but I am insisting on my blan diet, no meat, dairy, spices, my home made chicken noodle soup strainer all meat out for her, keywe, bananas and toast.. she agrees so she has been a good patient. If you all remember I took her to emergency room last Thursday or Saturday at 2pm, worried about a hart attack (ladies that do what she was is a possibility) tonight she ask me to do her hair, I said no, not yet, we still have a few days till Thanksgiving, she has 1 1/2 inches of gray growing out.. I am keeping sales packed up and shipped.. and staying near.. fingers crossed she continues her recovery, her, gp sees her Thursday at 10 am. Everyone doing ok here I hope.. mikies taking a quick nap and wake up in about an hour .. have a good evening.. Tom can tell I am on to something..
