Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well after not getting anything again this morning, we were pulling out of the driveway when my son spotted this. Technically not a kill since it’s obvious someone hit it at least 24 hours ago but DNR let him keep the head.

Just stumbled across this. Pretty sure it's AI generated, but it makes me kinda sad for things lost....

Look into 2004R conversions. They have a smaller case and fit without as many modifications. Still a long way from a plug and play. @Frodee and @Mopar Tim both have OD units in their cars. So does @Sublime one.
Will look at that thanks. I wish I wouldn't have let BOTH 904's go before the move but oh well. My thought with those was less drag than a 727 and still strong enough for my low HP build

700R4!! I was thinking those are junk, I have an 82 blazer in the yard that I need to get rid of. It has the broken sun gear problem so it only has 2nd and 3rd forward and no reverse or park. From what I researched the later 80s were better but the early ones have this common problem.

That's what I get for letting a chiiivy in the yard.

They are hard to find replacements for.

Looks like good traveling weather today for the drive home. Might just take an alternate route and stop by Blair's Speed Shop in Pasadena. :D Might find more Christmas gifts in there, heck, I found some for the granbrats at Moon Equipment :D Brat and Brat-in-Law need fun goodies too

They had their issues like many transmissions do. There are upgraded parts to make them strong. The 200 od's are a small case size and fit easier in the transmission hump.

When mine failed in my 89 burb had some HD parts added in there including sunshell upgrade. Unfortunately it crapped out at just over 12k after and shop wouldn't warranty it, TC failed (Mexico) and they acted like they weren't the ones that sourced and installed it.
