Stop in for a cup of coffee

New church this morning. I think I like it. The pastor here only spoke for a half an hour. The one I was going to before, the pastor would speak for over an hour every Sunday. Lol

My Yamaha sat in the back of Lynda's house for 5 days while I was gone to Hanoi. Yesterday afternoon when I went to take it, it would not start. Has an electronic fob remote and it would not allow me to turn the ignition switch on. Changed batteries in the fob but no change. Mind you, today is Sunday. I called the Yamaha dealer and explained the issue. They sent a guy out here to check it. He didn't have all the tools he needed but he did have another battery which he installed. Says he's going to take the other one back and test it. All that on a Sunday and for free. I did give him 20,000 Dong told him to go drink coffee.

Unbelievable

So the service tech took the battery back to the Yamaha dealership and double checked it.. Apparently it was still good. The tech just left here again and told me that the module for the connection for cell phone to the motorbike caused the battery to go dead. So they have been here twice today on Sunday to take care of the issue. They're going to order me another module for the phone connection should I ever need it, but I don't think I will

Ha.... Glad I'm here in Viet Nam. Camera outside my garage at 2:52 am Sunday. A little hard to see from that still, but the friggin snow is a blowin......kkkkkk

Overnite Friday the roads iced up. Saturday mornings ido my shopping. I wait till the sun comes up. My night vision sucks anymore and back roads have barely minimal lighting.
So on the way over the road passes over the PA. Turnpike.
Frozen road service.
Drive coming towards me about three hundred ft or so ahead estimate about 80 on a 35 mph road. Spins out crossed the divied line and slams head on into the retaing wall.i stopped and called the cops.
Should we send an ambulance. Uh no more like an undertaker.
Guy went thru the wind shield.
I was going to post it yesterday. Just to much going on when I came home. Was more interested in my gutters getting replaced I suppose

I'm going back to bed. My daughter will be here sometime this morning and go to brunch.
Between her and my son they keep trying to get me to move in with them. Never going to happen.

I just got back from having my Yamaha washed and cleaned. Drop it off. Walk to the nearest cafe for a $1 coffee. Come back and pick it up. Cost $1.50 to wash it. Kkkk

Mitch you should teach Pearl Harbor history history there.

Lay on your back and be American, then ask the oriental woman to be the Japanese and blow the **** out of you!

Laying down. Standing up, sitting, sitting in the car, on the plane,on the boat, anywhere. Doesn't make any difference. I get blown away....

Thanks John . Yea it is hard when you have no history . I was told someone bought her in Michigan and they had another dog and she did not like the other dog . The Michigan place would not take her back so they brought her to the humane society, I only intend on one dog . so hopefully no problems . We went on a long walk this morning.
Folks don’t realize how much time you have to invest in a new hound. But all that time creates an inseparable bond. As you so well know with a Shepard you have to earn your spot, they simply will not blindly decide you are ok just because you feed em. The breed is all about trust. I think your next few months getting to know each other will just be an absolute hoot. Give her some hugs for me!
