Malt o meal for late breakfast ..... late lunch...1pm meal. Been so long since I had malt o meal, hardly any stores have it anymore. @George Jets
You still stuck on the freeway?
Dead in the water until 2:00 tomorrow, cant even work on fargo, its too cold. Darn it.
There's a reason for that. LOL
I started cleaning in the garage and the sun came out. Hmmm. Yard sale! Drug a bunch of stuff out. Not many stopping, but sold stuff to 3 out of 4 customers and made over 90bucks. And best of all its some of the big junk that was taking up a lot of space between garageand shed.
An impromptu yard sale! Perfect.
No idea what you've got there. But they've got good stuff.
Malt-O-Meal, Good Stuff Grandma used to make it with Brown Sugar and Salt . . Made right here in Northfield Minnesota. Some days depending on what they are cooking at the plant, the whole town can smell like malt-o-meal. Lol . .
We have a Nestle plant 20 min north. The whole town smells like chocolate. We had a Wonder bakery downtown that closed. It always smelled like fresh baked bread. Yum. The old building got bought and turned into a very sucessful microbrewery/restaurant. I don't smell beer though! LOL
Just for giggles...
T There was a Union Sugar mill on the west side of town. Prevailing winds W or NW. They used to grow a lot of sugar beets here in the valley, when the plant was still open, and imported the beets from all over SoCal. When they were cooking beets town smelled like baked potatoes. You would be surprised how much soil sticks to those beets after harvest. There are still piles of that soil on the old property, 1000s of tons of it. It gets sold off as fill material now. That particular stretch of road behind those piles was one of the more popular areas for illicit speed contests .
Wow. That's awsome - esp with no listing or posters
Had something similar as a kid. Maltex? Wasn't bad, with honey and milk. Didn't appreciate it then. Had a little more substance to it than oatmeal. And now I prefer cereals that don't turn to mush or leave me hungry in an hour., Kashi's original hot 'pilaf' was pretty good but they stopped making it. It required 15-20 minutes of cooking. Guess that's too much work.
I remember a time when people were throwing away 71+ standard dash parts. Now clusters are 150.+ dollars on the black Ebay market. The radio bezels are nearly impossible to find. I am glad I picked up all the NOS ones i need for my cars
Interesting how that stuff changes. I was just looking at dual snorkel air cleaners. Wow! Those are going for big bucks now.
For a bodies?
I often have a bowl of cereal every morning but I prefer my grains malted and distilled!
again I am glad I picked those up when I had the chance. I bought a 71 340 air cleaner for the demon years ago for 250. bucks, at the time I thought it was outrageous. Now that same cleaner is going for 550. +
