Is their any street racing for money, betting, going on in your area?
If so would you please let me know on here or whichever way you want to share that information with me.
I started building my old 1971 BB stroker motor Duster for racing the black guys (anyone who wanted to race me, not just black guys and gals) in Los Angels in 2001 before I found out that I had prostrate cancer and had to have that taken care before finishing that car. We were in the process of trying to figure where to move to out of CA and we ended up moving to Bend, OR to be nearer to our Sons kids, he was going through a divorce and their moms people were drug addicts, alcoholics and welfare. We wanted to show them that they can become anyone they want to be, which has worked really well. Two of his three kids are doing very well and having kids of their own now
Back to the street racing for money, that car ended up running a best of 9.996 at 134.7 MPH cork up with the air cleaner on using straight 91 octane Oregon pump swill weighing 3450 Lbs. with me in it. I really miss that carbut it was time to move on after maxing it out, I like building and racing them until I get the urge to do another one
I have an early (1965) Valeant with a BB in it that I might end up making it so it can be driven on the streets legally, I bought it originally to let my grandkids try racing it with the power out way back (mid 14.? to maybe mid 13.s to start with) so they don't get scared or hurt by driving something with some power in it.
