Got the front fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid stripped, filled where needed, and in primer and ready for paint. Now for the body shell. Have to remover 5 layers of paint to get to bare metal - UGH!!! Finding plenty of body work ( most of it poorly done ), but no rust anywhere. Hope the rear fenders are mostly dent free.

Finally got it in paint. Kirkers ( Viper red ). As close to a Viper as it will ever get. Lots of wet sanding to do ( a few runs and orange peel ), but got 3 coats on it to work with.

If you don't mind me asking what did you strip door jam areas? Also overall car stripping? Wirewheel? Chemical strip? Or combination? Please elaborate.

Looks good! Is that a single stage paint or BC/CC?
Went with single stage, although you can clear coat it if you want. Chemical stripping is actually the least messy way to remove paint. This car had 5 coats of paint, so several applications were necessary. Kirker makes quality paint at an affordable $.
