I have installed in my 68 barracuda a full kit of polyurethane bushings. The thing is that the bushing that goes in the strut bar have broken twice. I will like to know if this has happened to someone else or just me. The car is a 440 with 318 torsion bars, stiffened leaf springs, lowered up front. Thanks

I never broke a stryt rod bushing but the Urathane ones are to thick and need to be cut down. I will use rubber for now on.

I rebuilt the front end of my car with polygrahite and the strut rod bushings were also too thick to tighten the nut all the way so I didn't (still was able to align the front end). BUT, the bushing started squeaking like an old wreck after a couple of months so I went back to rubber.
