We saw this today at Hobby Lobby. Kitty likes to go once a month for her sewing needs and I usually wander around. A Rat Fink set with a Rat Fink 70 Challenger and a Rat Fink 68 Charger. Badass.

After things settle down after New Years, let's get our HO scale race sets out and have some fun.
Hey, what about the guys with the AMT 1/24 scale setups? I still have the transformer from mine. I’ve seen some on ebay, but big bucks.
I plan on setting up a track this winter for the neighborhood kids to play with . Grass , buildings , lighting etc . I had track setup like that when I was akid ( same stuff) with intersections , single lane frontage roads and an HO gauge railroad with crossings . It was pretty cool !
So, i happened by a local HobbyLobby and they had ONE of this exact set in stock. I scooped it up ( and the blues brothers cars for spares lol ). Took it out to the van to leave....figured i better check the package.... SOMEONE STOLE THE DAMN CARS OUT THE BOX, carefully....i didnt even notice the box was unsealed.
I headed back inside, sure they would accuse ME of tampering with the box. They said thats been happening everywhere. They said they only get ONE set at a time, and there are three different ones possible, and this is the only Mopar based one. Also no way to check stock at other stores short of calling and waiting for someone to physically look. In the end they knocked $60 off and said i can have it for that.
I did do some looking around....cant find on Amazon anymore.

I always thought slot cars are 1:64 scale, can't say I've ever seen a HO 1:87 scale ?
You're correct of course. The industry has called 1/64 HO scale for years. It's not. It's S scale.

That looks like fun. I haven't raced slot cars in 60 years. I might get one.
Knowing the cars die long before any other part and the graphics was the best part of the item all aling,,, I'll save the picture of the box and save my money.
