I acquired a low mileage (under 80K) 1979 Super Six with the 904 transmission. Pretty dang complete. RARE complete kickdown linkage too. I ain't real sure what to do with it yet, but I'll figure somethin out. lol And no this ain't a stealthy for sale thread cause it AIN'T for sale. LOL

There's one in every crowd. Rusty, take the compressor mounts off and duplicate them. Those would sell.
Lock this down if you want to, Mike. I got no hard feelins. I did NOT post this to try to sell anything. I was just kinda excited to have found one this complete in this good a shape and thought I'd share it.

All good as long as the rest of the crew doesn't post offers. :mob:

Congrats on the super find! Like all these old car parts, it is all getting harder find.
Yea the super 6 kick down etc. is unique I understand.

One thing I always liked when I used the super six was the Carter BBD, way good setup IMHO.

It's a fresh rebuild. See the new tail shaft gasket stickin out?

Looks like a clean, complete engine. The transmission looks extra clean, maybe rebuilt?? It just seems like yesterday that whenever I wanted a "super six" package, I'd just hit the local yards. Get the intake, kickdown, etc for next to nothing. Time changes everything!
