Tail panel emblem

I'm wanting to paint the center of the tail panel trim on my 67. Is there a good way to remove and reinstall the Barracuda emblem? I don't want to take it off and not be able to get it back on securely. Thanks!

I took vice grips and flattened the posts working around each post 4 times until the emblem slid off. On reattachment I slid the posts back through the holes, took a punch and spread them back out...
