I had my 69 Dart mini tubbed and there is no longer any room for a tailpipe on the passenger side. Has anyone come up with a way to still have tailpipes after your car was mini tubbed?

My son's Mopar tips are about an inch outboard of stock location, tubbed, sneaking out over spring, and back in again at the back .
They are 2 1\2* .
I'll try and get a pic, but there's an example here, on site if you do a "search" .
He'd like to do it different, if he did it again .!

Mines tubbed with original style tank and 3” system with tailpipes exiting outside the springs. The last photo will give you an idea of how the pipe is routed on the passenger side.

Being the tailpipes are no longer hidden behind the frame rails, how visible are they from the side of the car when looking in the direction of the rear wheel wells?

I have a mini tub with the springs moved inboard under the framerail. The exhaust is 2.5 inch with stock tips. I had the tailpipes made by a local shop for $300 plus taxes. Sure made a big difference in the noise inside the car. Tires are Nitto 325-50-15's on 15x10 wheels with 6.5 inch backspacing. Lots of clearance everywhere for exhaust and tires.

Do you have any pics of the tailpipes from underneath? Looking at some of the other pics I got the impression that the tailpipes would have to be moved to the outside corners but I would like to have tips in the stock location if possible.

I'll see if I can get some photos from underneath tomorrow. Mine are not in the stock location. When you move the springs inboard you can't run the exhaust directly underneath the framerails. Mine are on the outside edge of the framerail.

Here you go. A little tough getting good photos as I have the car put away for the winter. I was able to get them though and the first 3 are of the drivers side and then the passenger side. Added a picture of where the car is sitting.

Thank you for the pics.

Looks good, I wish I had the clearance for that. What resonators are those out back?
Those are 4” DynoMax RaceBullets. Takes a little more bark out of it so instead of setting off most alarms with 2 mufflers, some are set off with 4.

Thanks, I'm 99% sure I can't package them, but I'm gonna look up the dimensions for the 3" version and see. Mines minitubbed with a stock tank, I was able to fit 3" pipes out to the bumper, but didn't have a long straight portion, it was all bends around stuff.

Yeah you’d have to sneak through between the leaf spring and frame rail to the outside and then turn back towards the rear bumper. My friend has his that way in 4” though, I think he may have had to massage the tank a little to get by. Once I seen his 4” my new 3” came off and I got busy.
