Anybody ever heard of this place? The 68 GTS I bought has a 340 in it with this tag on the side of the block. It also says Tacoma, Wash. 98411 and a ID no. Any help would be appreciated.

what specifically are you looking to find out?

Tam Engineering is a wholesale engine rebuilder. Certainly wouldn't call them custom. I've seen various examples of their work over the years, and wouldnt send any work their way, but I am not saying your engine is going to be junk or fail at any given moment either.
