I took my girlfriend to The Empress in Victoria BC for a night, for our Valentines day, early I know, but I work out of town 2 weeks at a time, and my week at home didn't line up with the actual day. Pretty neat place, pretty expensive too. Really nice inside, we went for tea, which was a $44 flat rate, and at first I thought, what a joke, $44 for tea?? But once we were inside, it was pretty cool! They brought us loads of awesome food, good tea, and we had an awesome view of the harbour.

Carmen would kill me if she knew I was putting pictures of her on here..

Then after all that, we went to check out a few cars for sale for Carmen, just for a daily commuter, since hers needs too much work. On the way to look at some for her, we saw quite a few older ones out on the streets.

This 4 door 70's Valiant had more rust than metal! But driven by an older lady.

While test driving one of the cars (the one she bought, actually), down some side streets, came across this Scamp. I really like what they've done with the red accents on the black.

Anyways, had a really good time. Decided to take my mother there for tea for Mother's Day.

Way to treat your lady. Something you both will always remember. Those were cool cars you saw, you always take good pictures, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for a trip in Victoria  I had Treva get up and look at that nice Tea shop and she really was caught up in that nice old place, Congratulations on a great trip and Carmen is a beautiful young lady Mike.
Amazing to see so many older model cars and trucks running around.

Thank you for sharing a place I most likely will never see in person
