after much fretting and fussing about my darn Brake lights it turns out it was the fuse box , the jerk who did my resto work didn't bother to replace or clean the rust out of my fuse box and I found 2 circuits with severely rusted poles and the bad brake light circuit had a 25 amp in where it called for a 20 amp leading to some melted plastic around the end of the fuse , I pulled the affected fuses and wrapped some 60 grit around a golf tee and manually dremmeled out the poles and surrounding rusty bits ,cleaned the fuses and Voila I now have all my lights back RedFish you Rock buddy
